The best part of family practice is being able to form lasting relationships with patients over time. I believe that learning more about their lives and personalities and interacting in the clinic setting can facilitate better communication and understanding. Ultimately, this helps me provide the best care and ensure every patient has a positive experience. I chose to become a physician assistant because I believe in the philosophy of working together as part of a care team to benefit the patient. This team approach improves the continuity of care and enhances provider access.
