The Apple Creek YMCA is a unique branch of the YMCA of the Fox Cities, dedicated to connecting families and youth with nature through hands-on environmental education and outdoor exploration. Nestled alongside the Bruce B. Purdy Nature Preserve, this location offers over 100 acres of diverse ecosystems including restored prairies, wetlands, pine plantations and wooded trails—perfect for hiking, learning and discovery. From catching tadpoles to butterfly walks, every experience is designed to foster a lifelong love for the environment. In addition to its nature-based programming, Apple Creek YMCA features licensed drop-in child care, before and after school care, youth programs, group exercise classes, and a full 24/7 wellness center with fitness equipment. It’s a welcoming space where families can grow, stay active and connect with both nature and community.
